What is Ultherapy?
We are offering radiofrequency to our clients for lifting and tightening the face. Ultherapy is an FDA-cleared, non-invasive radiofrequency treatment that targets superficial and deep layers of the face, promoting collagen synthesis.
What does Ultherapy treat?
As we age, collagen breaks down, and the result is a loss of skin strength and elasticity. In short, it has the responsibility of keeping our faces appearing lifted and youthful. Collagen is a natural structural protein that gives shape to every layer of the face.
There are many ways of boosting collagen:
- Oral supplements such as Vitamin C, Collagen powder, and Zinc
- Topicals such as Vitamin A (Retinol) and topical Vitamin C
- In-Office Treatments:
- Co2 Laser Resurfacing
- Radiofrequency (Ultherapy)
- Microneedling.
How does Ultherapy work?
Ultherapy targets 1.5mm, 3mm, and 4.5mm below the skin, penetrating the superficial skin layers to muscle fascia. By stimulating your body to produce endogenous collagen, it softens fine lines. When depositing in deeper structures, it contracts the muscle fascia which facilitates lifting of the jawline, brows, and cheekbones.
How do I know if Ultherapy is right for me?
We can set you up with a virtual or in-office consultation to discuss your desired outcome.
What should I expect from Ultherapy?
Effects of Ultherapy include microlifts in the tail of the brow, cheeks, and nasolabial folds as well as a sharper jawline - without volumizing! Ultherapy is performed prior to filler treatment and often minimizes the amount of botox and filler necessary to achieve desired outcomes. The results are seen 3 months post-treatment, and it is recommended to repeat the treatment every 2 years.
